Day 01 : Arrival-
Paro. Upon arrival meet with our representative
and transfer to hotel. O/N Hotel at Paro
Day 02 : Paro – Thimphu. Morning
visit Drukgyel Dzong, Taktsang viewpoint, Kychu Lhakhang.
After visit National Museum, later transfer to Thimphu.
O/N Hotel at Thimphu.
Day 03 : Thimphu – Trongsa.
Early drive to Trongsa via Do Chula Pass (Ht.10, 000ft),
from where one has good overlooking view of the Eastern
Himalayan Ranges. Enroute visit Wangdi Dzong and proceed
to Trongsa across Pelela Pass (Alt 3300 m). Visit local
village to see the textiles. O/N Hotel Trongsa.
Day 04 : Trongsa – Mongar.
Drive through Yutong la Pass (3,400m), have lunch at
Bumthang drive to Mongar. O/N Lodge at Mongar.
Day 06 : Mongar Sightseeing. Visit
Khurbazam village, where some of the most famous and
expensive textiles in Bhutan are woven in silk and cotton.
O/N Lodge at Mongar.
Day 07 : Mongar – Bumthang.
Do sightseeing in and around. O/N Hotel
Day 08 : Bumthang – Halt.
Explore Bumthang whole day. Visit some village and see
women weaving Matha. O/N Hotel
Day 09 : Bumthang – Punakha.
On the way visit Chumey village where the most famous
Bumthang Yatha are woven. See how they prepare the thread.
O/N Hotel at Punakha.
Day 10 : Punakha – Thimphu.
Visit Punakha dzongs and Wangdi dzongs, later Chimi
Lhakhang. O/N Hotel at Thimphu
Day 11 : Thimphu – Paro. Visit
Handicraft shops and weaving center in Thimphu, evening
Transfer to Paro. O/N Hotel at Paro.
Day 12 : Paro - Departure
