Days Black Neck Crane Tour (last week of Oct - Feb)
Day
01 : Arrive Paro- Thimphu. Upon arrival meet our
representative and then transfer to Thimphu. O/N Hotel
at Thimphu.
Day
02 : Thimphu – Gangtey Gompa. Early morning
drive to Gantery Gompa over the Dochula Pass (Ht.10,
000ft), from where one can have good overlooking views
of Eastern Himalayan Ranges, enroute visit to Punakha,
visit Punakha dzong and do sightseeing in and around
Punakha later drive to Wangdi, visit dzongs. After
lunch drive to Gangtey Gompa. O/N Gangtey Gompa.
Day
03 : Phobjikha Excursion – Wangdi. Early
Morning excursion to Phobjikha valley to see the Black
Neck Crane (the rare species bird). Evening drive
to wangdi. O/N Hotel at Wangdi.
Day
04 : Wangdi – Thimphu. Morning transfer to
Thimphu, visit National Memorial Chorten, Painting
School, National Library and Post Office. O/N Hotel
at Thimphu.
Day
05 : Thimphu – Paro. Early morning drive
to Paro; visit National Museum, Kyichu Lhakhang and
local farm House. O/N Hotel at Paro.
Day
06 : Paro - Departure.
