Days Journey to Central Bhutan (All year round)
Day 01 : Arrive Paro - Thimphu.
Upon arrival meet with our representative and after
lunch transfer to Thimphu. O/N Hotel Thimphu
Day 02 : Thimphu Sightseeing. Morning
visit Memorial Chorten, National Library, Painting School,
Handicraft shop. Spend the rest of the day at your own
leisure. O/N Hotel at Thimphu.
Day 03 : Thimphu – Trongsa.
Early drive to Trongsa via Dochula Pass (Ht.10,000ft),
from where one has good overlooking view of the Eastern
Himalayan Ranges. Enroute visit Wangdi Dzong and proceed
to Trongsa across Pelela Pass (Alt 3300 m). O/N Hotel
Trongsa.
Day 04 : Trongsa – Bumthang.
After breakfast visit Trongsa Dzong and drive to Bumthang
across Yutong La Pass (Alt. 3400m). After lunch do sightseeing
in and around Bumthang. O/N Hotel at Bumthang.
Day 05 : Bumthang Sightseeing.
Explore Bumthang whole day; visit Jambay Lhakhang, Kurje
Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery and Jakar Dzong. O/N Hotel
at Bumthang.
Day 06 : Trongsa – Wangdi.
After breakfast drive Wangdi. O/N Hotel at Wangdi
Day 07 : Wangdi – Paro. Visit
Punakha Dzong, the winter home of the central Monk Body
and Chimi Lhakhang. After lunch drive to Paro. O/N Hotel
at Paro.
Day 08 : Paro Sightseeing. Early
Drive to Drukgyel Dzong and to Taktsang viewpoint. On
the way back visit Kyichu Lhakhang. After lunch visit
National Museum and evening stroll down town. O/N Hotel
Paro.
Day 09 : Paro Departure
